What does "natural" mean to consumers?
"Natural" is a non-specific term that can have significantly different interpretations. In an Ipsos survey conducted across 28 countries, consumers were asked what "natural" meant to them if communicated on food or beverage packaging. "Without artificial ingredients," (52%) was the most commonly associated attribute, followed by "100% from nature," (44%) and "healthy" (43%).

The bed as we know it—a private space only shared by partners—is a very recent invention.
Beds today are a very private affair, behind the bedroom's firmly shut door they're the ultimate realm of privacy. During the 19th century rapid urbanisation gave birth to compact row houses with small rooms, each with a specific purpose, one of which was sleeping. By 1875, Architect magazine had published an essay declaring that a bedroom used for anything other than sleeping was unwholesome and immoral. Bedrooms are now a calming place to recuperate, but a 2019 survey found that 80% of teens brought their mobile devices into their bedrooms at night; nearly one-third slept with them.
